- The surface has to be free from oil, fat, or similar contamination
- Remove loose rust and dust particles from the surface, If the rust is more, remove it using mechanical cleaning equipment such as a wire brush, chipping, hammering, or grinding. Clean the residue with a cloth.
- Dilute the solution with distilled water 0-70% based on rust/lime scale level. for better performance, use concentrated.
- Apply Sheenlac rust and scale remover on the area with a cloth, brush, roller, spray, etc., and allow it to react until the red rust is removed or until the passive black layer is formed. Dip the steel substrate in the solution if it is a small component for better results.
- For limescale removal, allow the solution to react with the scale completely.
- For internal pipelines, circulate the material through the pipe using an external pump and ensure the material is completely in contact with all the surfaces.
- Clean the substrate with water multiple times until you achieve a normal pH.
- Allow the surface to dry before painting and painting to be done immediately after drying as per recommendations.
- Keep containers upright, tightly closed in a cool, dry, well ventilated location
- Keep opened containers closed and tightly closed when not in use
- Store away from heat source, direct sunlight and other flammable materials
- Keep out of reach of children & pets. Do not store near food, drinks or animal feed
- Do not mix with incompatible materials
- Wear appropriate body, eye and respiratory protection equipment
- Work in a well ventilated area. Do not breathe vapour or sprayed contents
- Skin contact may cause irritation. In case of skin contact wash immediately with water
- In case of eye contact, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention
- Dispose any spilled or unused paint, containers through appropriate disposal agency
- Do not dispose spillages or unused paint in drain ,water bodies and landfill
