Application
Sheenlac WB Parquet polish can be applied by brush, spray or roller.
Porous surfaces should be primed with WB Parquet polish after
diluting it with 40–50% water.
Sand the surface to remove any raised grain and wipe out the dust.
If required, stain the wood using Sheenlac wood stain after diluting it
with 20–40% water. Allow it to dry for 2 hours.
Further 2 or 3 coats of parquet polish is required for better finish and
performance. Dilute the polish with 10–20% water for roller finish. 30-40% for spray or brush use.
Light sanding in between coats may be necessary if there is any
raising the grain. Use #320 or 400 emery for this purpose.
Allow 2 hours in between coats and 16 hours after final coat before full use.
Do not use in temperatures below 5 °C / 40°F or in very high
humidity.
Lower temperatures will slow the final cure time.
For a high level of protection and stain resistance in matt
finish, we recommend applying 2 coats of semi-glossy finish, then 1 coat of matt finish.
