SHEENLAC WATER BASED PARQUET FLOOR POLISH
Sheenlac Exterior Heavy Duty clear parquet polish is composed of a water based dispersion of cross-linking polyurethane
copolymer with surfactants, waxes, and rheology modifying agents.
An ultra-hard, high-quality polish with a semi-gloss or matt finish that dries to a crystal clear film recommended for both interior and exterior surfaces where it requires a high level of protection from high wear such areas as gymnasiums, dance floors, andpublic halls.
WB parquet polish is ideal for use on Wood, stone, brick, slate, and cork tiles, to give a hard clear protective coating with a high
degree of chemical and abrasion resistance.
Sheenlac WB Parquet polish can be applied by brush, spray or roller.
Porous surfaces should be primed with WB Parquet polish after
diluting it with 40–50% water.
Sand the surface to remove any raised grain and wipe out the dust.
If required, stain the wood using Sheenlac wood stain after diluting it
with 20–40% water. Allow it to dry for 2 hours.
Further 2 or 3 coats of parquet polish is required for better finish and
performance. Dilute the polish with 10–20% water for roller finish. 30-40% for spray or brush use.
Light sanding in between coats may be necessary if there is any
raising the grain. Use #320 or 400 emery for this purpose.
Allow 2 hours in between coats and 16 hours after final coat before full use.
Do not use in temperatures below 5 °C / 40°F or in very high
Lower temperatures will slow the final cure time.
For a high level of protection and stain resistance in matt
finish, we recommend applying 2 coats of semi-glossy finish, then 1 coat of matt finish.
